Robert Pendleton marries Louisa English 15th July 1905 in St Peters Church Woolton.

The following information of Private Robert Pendleton is from the Weekly News Newspaper September 17th 1915

News that the death of Private Robert Pendleton with Mediterranean Expeditionary Force of 64 Campania Street Garston formerly of Woolton. Private Robert Pendleton leaves a widow and 5 children and was for 11 years a plate-layer on the L and N.W.R. In October last joined the 9th Lancashire Fusiliers. He was killed in action on 7th August.He must have fallen in the first engagement probably the first day he reach the firing line on the Gallipoli Peninsala.

On the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website, son of Mr and Mrs Robert Pendleton of 22 Vale Rd Woolton and Husband of Louisa Pendleton of 83 Byram St Garston.

His Brother Joseph Pendleton served in the 18th kings Liverpool Regiment(1st Liverpool Pals) died on the 1st July 1916

Private Robert Pendleton served in the 9th Bn Lancashire Fusiliers serial number 9553 died on the 7th August 1915 age 31
