65 years ago, the Quarrymen were invited to perform at St Peter’s Church fete because, as it does now, the Church wanted to give its young people a chance and make sure that they felt welcome and included. So, rather than host a concert on the 65th anniversary of the day that John met Paul (the concert will be on Saturday!), all our events are aimed to be as welcoming and inclusive as they were back on that historic and ‘fateful’ day.!
On July 6, 2022, the Church Hall will be open to visitors throughout the day and during the evening. All events on July 6 are FREE, and there might be a few treats for everyone who can join us.
The highlight during the day will be a special Beatle-themed singalong led by the wonderful Norma! These events have been hugely popular in the past and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate.
