Joseph born Woolton 8th September 1893 and baptized 1st October 1893  in St Peters Church Woolton. Father William Edwin Ellinson a gardener  and mother Mary Ellen nee Kenna ( William and Mary married September  15th 1892  in St Peter’s  Woolton

According to the 1911 census a Joseph Ellinson age 17 a grocers assistant is living with his Father William Edwin and Mother Mary Ellen and 2 brothers William Edwin aged 12 and Herbert aged 1 and sister Elizabeth Ellen aged 9. Living at 12 Quarry St Woolton.

J Ellinson serial number 49083 20th The Kings Liverpool Regiment died on the 30th June 1917 aged 23years old he died of wounds.
