Private James Mainwaring born February 8th 1888 in Weaverham Cheshire in 1888.

in 1891 census James age 4 with father Thomas and mother Mary with brothers William age 11, Albert age 9, George age 7 and sisters Mary age 6 and Catherine age 1. Family living at Weaverham Cheshire.

1911 James age 21 employed as a Gardener is a boarder with Mary Ann Morphet and family with brother Thomas McLaughlin. at 38 Allerton Rd Woolton.

From James Discharge Papers James a groundsman of 50 Cobden St Woolton James enlisted 20th February 1917in the Kings Liverpool Regiment and James has grey hair and grey eyes and is just under 5′ 10″ tall. and serial number 66459 .Changed his unit to 73 Lab Coy, Labour Corps on the 14th May 1917. new service number 43255. James was  declared physically unfit on 4th January 1918 he had been infected with TB and Discharged on the 21st January 1918

James Mainwaring at living at 28 Gladstone St Woolton died 5th January 1919 and buried 9th January 1919 at St Peters Church and his grave has a Commonwealth War Graves Headstone on it.

James pension to wife Mary living at 53 Cobden St Woolton . The pension record list 2 children. A son James Moffat Mainwaring born 31st July 1912 and a daughter born Wilhelmina born15th December 1913.  

On 12th February 1928 at St Peter’s Church Woolton  Mary age 34 marries for 2nd time to James Seddon age 46 a widower living ,1 Cam St Woolton

Mary Mainwaring (nee Moffatt of Moffat ) age 34 marries for the 2nd time to a to a widower James Seddon age 46 living at 1 Cam St Woolton ( Mary at the time living 53 Cobden St Woolton.

Mary Seddon nee Mainwaring nee Moffatt (Moffat) died 7th April 1949 and buried St Peters Church Woolton. (James Seddon is buried in same grave

According to Commonwealth War graves Commission serial number 66459 serving in the Kings Liverpool Regiment and died 5th January 1919.
