From James Discharge Papers James is a Groundsmen of 50 Cobden St Woolton James has grey hair and grey eyes and is just under 5′ 10″ tall. and serial number 66459 .Changed his unit to 73 Lab Coy, Labour Corps on the 14th May 1917. new service number 43255.

James according to his Discharge Papers was declared physically unfit on 4th January 1918 he had been infected with TB and Discharged on the 21st January 1918.

According to Commonwealth War graves Commission serial number 66459 serving in the Kings Liverpool Regiment and died 5th January 1919.
