Private Frederick Albert Rogers born 19th November 1889 and baptized on January 5th 1890 at St Nicholas Church Halewood.
In 1911 Frederick aged 21 and employed as on the railway as a platelayer. and living with his Father William who also works on the railway as a signalman. William has been married to Margaret for 36 years (had 12 children 11 living and 1 has died) Frederick also living with brothers James Charles aged 26, Edgar aged 19, Sidney aged 15 and sisters Chrlotte Helen aged 29, Margaret Alice aged 25, Ada Gertrude aged 22 and familey living at 49 Woolton St Woolton.
At the start of the war according to his service record Frederick enlisted at Fraser St Liverpool in the 10th Liverpool Scottish. Serial number 3421. His height was 5ft and 7 half inches and weight 10s 8Ib. Frederick a gardner. Frederick went to France on the 21st January 1915 and was wounded in Chest and Shoulder and died of his wounds on the 23rd June 1915 in Rawal Pindi British General Hospital Boulogne France.
