Private Edward Quick born Woolton and in 1911 aged 14 employed as farm labourer living with Father Robert a widower (Mother Martha on 1901 census), brothers Thomas aged 21, Robert aged 19, Henry aged 16, Albert aged 11, family living at Quarry Bank Cottages Woolton.

According to the Soldiers who Died in Great War 1914 – 1919 Private Edward Quick formerly served in The Kings Liverpool serial number 36863.

Private Edward Quick served 32rd Bn Machine Gun Corps (Infantry) serial number 14368 Died 10th August 1918.
