St Peter’s Celebrates the Jubilee

To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, St Peter’s Church and Church Hall will be open on Friday June 3 and Saturday June 4!

Take a tour inside the Church and see our beautiful stained glass windows designed by Charles Kempe and William Morris, and the choir stalls where John Lennon sat.

Visit the Church Hall and stand on the spot where a young Paul McCartney auditioned for John on July 6, 1957, and the Lennon-McCartney partnership began!

Depending on staff availability, we may be offer a guided tour of the graveyard to visit the graves of legendary football manager, Bob Paisley, John’s uncle, George Toogood Smith, and ‘our’ Eleanor Rigby!

Opening Times:

Friday June 3: Church open from 10am to 11.45am and 2.15pm to 4pm; Church Hall open from 10am to 4pm

Saturday June 4: Church open from 10am to 4pm; Church Hall 10am to 2pm

Entry is FREE!

We use the eBay Global Shipping Programme for international sales and, having double-checked, Indonesia is included in the list of eligible countries. If you are unable to order via eBay, you might to contact eBay to sort it out because there are no restrictions from our side. Hope this helps!
