Enjoy the Beauty of St Peter’s Church!

OPEN CHURCH

St Peter’s Church will be open Saturdays and Sundays 10 am – 4 pm** throughout July, August and September!

Please come and have a look round our beautiful building and take time to enjoy the peace and quiet.

For Beatles fans, this is an opportunity to visit the Church that was an important part of John’s childhood.  Mimi attended regularly, and John sang in the choir and once tried his hand at bell-ringing.  Make sure to ask the volunteers to point out the spot where John sat in the choir stalls, or the area of the Church where Mimi liked to sit for services.

Two of John’s uncles are also remembered in the Church – his uncle Robert is listed on the war memorial, and uncle George is buried in St Peter’s graveyard.

** Please note that access to some areas of the Church may vary during Church Sunday services and for special services such as weddings and funerals, and that all times are subject to change at short notice.

St Peter’s Church Hall Open!

St Peter’s Church Hall will be open to visitors tomorrow – Saturday June 16 – from 11am until 3pm in honour of Paul’s birthday on Monday!  If you’re in Woolton, please come in and say hello!

Our new limited edition phone stands will be on sale for the first time (only available at the Church)!
